1. Micromax A60

Micromax A60 is Quiet an old phone. It is a super seller from the house of Micromax. This is the cheapest android phone available in Indian market. It has a small screen (Resistive) size of just 2.8 inches. Its hardware and software (Android 2.1) is quiet outdated. The phone is not recommended.

2. Karbonn A1

It features a 2.8 inches Screen (Resistive) along with 2.0 Megapixel Camera. If you are looking for a budget Android dual sim phone, this phone fits your bill pretty well.

Bling 2 is targeted at female consumers. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) phone running Android 2.2. It also features 3.2 inches Touch Screen (Capacitive), 3.0 Megapixel Camera and a Motion Sensor.

5. iBall Andi

iBall Andi is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) Android 2.2 phone from iBall. It’s a comparatively new phone launched just last month. It also features 3.2 inches Touch Screen (Capacitive), 416 MHz Processor, 3.0 Megapixel Camera. Due to its low Processor MHz – The phone is not recommended.

6. LG Optimus Me P350

This is the cheapest Android from any MNC. It runs Android 2.2 and has 2.8 inches Touch Screen (Capacitive). It also offers WiFi Tethering and an in built Motion Sensor. It has 155 MB internal storage.

7. Spice Mi310

Mi310 is a value for money smartphone running Android 2.2. It has 3.2 inches Touch Screen (Capacitive) and 85 MB of internal storage. The phone is quiet slim at just 11.95 mm.

8. Samsung Galaxy Y

Samsung Galaxy Y is the only phone running Android 2.3. It’s probably the best combination of features and value available to budget conscious buyers in India. It has a 3 inches Touch Screen (Capacitive) along with 2.0 Megapixel Camera and Exchangeable Covers. It weighs just 97 grams and is 11.5 mm thick. It has decent looks and good build quality for the price. The phone is highly recommended for its features at bargain price.

9. Micromax A70

Micromax A70 runs on Android 2.2 and features a 5.0 Megapixel Camera. It has 3.2 inches Touch Screen (Capacitive) and weighs just 85 grams. It has great build quality, and attractive (read premium) design. Some users have reported problems about its weak Wifi Antenna.

Final Verdict:
If you are looking for a budget smart phone, Samsung Galaxy Y should be your first price. Being from the house of Samsung you can be assured that phone’s build quality and  even accessories (charger, hands free etc.) are of comparatively (than Micromax, Karbonn and the likes ) better quality. If one is looking for a dual sim Android phone than Spice Mi270 should be a good option.
